Hi, I’m Maddie Bushman!
Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up listening to electronic dance music thanks to my parents, but it wasn't until college that my love for the scene really took off. After attending my first music festival, Moonrise, I was hooked. Around that same time, dance music was growing rapidly, and I got to experience firsthand how much the community and culture surrounding it were evolving.
One of the things that has fascinated me most is the role social media has played in the growth of electronic dance music. I've watched artists go from being relatively unknown to reaching massive audiences, largely through the power of social platforms. It's shown me just how important building a strong online presence and connecting with your audience can be.
I graduated with a degree in Marketing and an emphasis in Digital Marketing. After college, I began working at a digital marketing agency, specializing in SEO and PPC. Through my work, I've gained experience in building digital strategies, growing online visibility, and helping brands reach the right audiences.
Over the past few years, I've also developed a love for capturing content at shows and festivals. My favorite part is finding ways to translate the energy of a live set into a video that makes someone watching from their phone feel like they were right there in the crowd.
For me, music marketing brings together two things I'm passionate about: electronic dance music and digital marketing. I want to use my experience, creativity, and understanding of the scene to help artists build their brands, connect with fans, and share the experiences that make dance music so special.
